Tofu & Pear Soup

Especially good for Autumn

Tofu & Pear Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1lb: Hard or soft tofu
  • 2 pears sliced
  • 2 slices of fresh ginger
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • Soy sauce

Directions:

Saute the ginger, onions, and tofu in a little sesame oil. After onions turn a little brown, add 5-6 cups of water with the sliced pears. Bring to a boil and simmer for 45 minutes. Add soy sauce at the end.

NB: Can use chicken as an alternative to the tofu
